About Us

Family-Owned Mom

We are a family of 6! Our love for Goldendoodles began when we met our first goldendoodle, Rey. Scarlett joined our family in 2022, and we just love her so much. They has brought so much joy and love into our lives and we are thrilled that we are able to help other families find their new family member.

Breeding Programs

We use the BAB & Puppy Culture development and breeding programs. These two programs help empower pups to build confidence, improve intellegence, strengthen heart and vital health systems, and are well socialized. Find out more information here!

Price

We understand that you have many choices of breeders from where you can select your Goldendoodle. You will also see a variety of prices among these breeders. Remember that you will often “get what you pay for.” At Hartman Goldendoodles, we feel that in order to get the best quality pet, you need to select a quality breeder who has taken the necessary steps to ensure that the parent dogs and their puppies are as healthy and genetically sound as possible. This kind of quality, of course, will mean a higher price tag, but will protect you and benefit you in the long run.

A cheaper dog may mean a dog that is not healthy or of sound temperament, and could mean more heartache and money spent down the road. It’s not cheap to raise dogs, nor is it cheap to breed them. We’ve spent a lot of time, money, and effort into choosing our parent dogs and testing them before proceeding with breeding to help ensure healthy offspring and outstanding temperments. Hartman Goldendoodles is confident that, should you purchase a puppy from us, you will be more than satisfied with your new family member and the service you receive!

FAQS

Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions. If your question isn't answered here, feel free to contact us!

What delivery options do you offer if I don't live near Southern California?

Flight Nanny - A flight Nanny would carry your puppy in a soft travel crate with her/him in the airplane cabin. There are a couple different flight nanny options. First, my husband or I could be your flight nanny. In this case, the price would be the cost of round trip airfare from Ontario International Airport or an Orange County Airline, the airline’s pet travel fee (usually around $150), plus a delivery fee of $300. We provide the crate, treats and lots of snuggles and comfort for the puppy while he/she is flying. Second, you could go through a professional flight nanny service. We have several recommendations of reliable flight nanny services. Either way, we will work with you to figure out the best way to get your puppy to you!

Meet us at the Ontario International Airport or Any Orange County Airline - If you prefer to do the flying we are happy to meet you at the Ontario International Airport with your puppy. If you have ever wanted to visit the beaches of SoCal, take a visit to Disneyland, or just soak in the sun. We can provide the puppy carrier and needed supplies for your journey home for $50. Please check airline policy on animal transport when booking your flight. They can be tricky. Airlines change their policies so frequently that it is impossible for me to keep track of them! The best policy is to always double check the rules for your specific flight.

*We do not send puppies on their own in the cargo area of the plane.

How do deposits work?

A $500 deposit is required for us to reserve a puppy for you. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another litter. Deposits can be transferred to another litter for up to two years. You will be placed at the bottom of the desired litter's reservation list.

Since we are always waiting on nature for our girls to go into heat and pups to be born, the esitmated litter maybe earlier or later than planned. It could be 3-6 month later/earlier than planned.

Once you fill out the adoption application, we will email and/or text you about a deposit. We prefer using Venmo or Zelle when making the deposit.

What is Pet Insurance/Trupanion?

All of our puppies receive a month of Trupanion Pet Insurance when they leave us.

*Pet insurance voucher must be activated by new puppy owners

How do I adopt a puppy?

The quick answer:

1- Fill out adoption form

2- Pay $500 deposit (non-refundable) and complete the Puppy Breeding Contract. Download!

3- Wait anxiously and watch the adorable videos and picture updates of the puppies (found on our instagram)

4- Full Payment due at 8 weeks and puppy goes home with you!

The long answer:

It is best to first check the puppy reservation list on this page and see if there are puppies available from the litter you are interested in and ask any questions you may need to feel secure that one of these puppies is a good match for you by emailing us. Once you have confirmed that there is a puppy available you can fill out the adoption form on our website. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy. You can either send the deposit using Venmo, Zelle, or pay with cash.

Once the puppies are born we send videos and update pictures of the puppies at approx. 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks of age. It is so very fun to watch the puppies grow and develop! Around 6 weeks of age we do final puppy choices - Picking Your Puppy

Full payment is due by 8 weeks of age before puppy goes home with you. We accept payments in cash, Venmo, or Zelle. We then arrange shipping or pick up for the puppy. Puppy then goes home!

Where are you located?

We are located in Upland, California. We will give you our specific location if you choose to come pick up your puppy when the time comes.

Do you require my puppy to be spayed/neutered?

Yes, we do require you to spay/neuter your puppy at 12 months of age. You are required, by contract, to do so. After your pup is spayed/neutured, you are required to send us a copy of your dog's certification of spay/neutur before the dog turns 13 months old.
